Bellevue Varsity Wolverines fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 4-0 loss to Lake Washington Varsity Kang’s on Saturday. Lake Washington Varsity Kang’s took the lead on a home run in the second inning.

In the second inning, Lake Washington Varsity Kang’s got their offense started. Lilly Bean hit a solo homer.

A double by Brooklyn Jones in the first inning was a positive for Bellevue Varsity Wolverines.

Tess Bumiller pitched Lake Washington Varsity Kang’s to victory. The fireballer surrendered zero runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out 11.

Rachel Treves took the loss for Bellevue Varsity Wolverines. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out six.

Ava Warner went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Bellevue Varsity Wolverines in hits.
