Treves Throws Shutout As Wolverines Defeats Mercer Island

Kelly Treves didn’t allow a single run as Bellevue Wolverines Varsity defeated Mercer Island 10-0 on Monday. Treves allowed just two hits and induced a fly out from Jessica Ramseyer to end the game.

Montana Jones led Bellevue Wolverines Varsity to victory by driving in six runs. She went 2-for-4 at the plate. Jones drove in runs on a grand slam in the fifth and a double in the sixth.

Bellevue Wolverines Varsity scored six runs in the fifth inning. Bellevue Wolverines Varsity scored on a single by Kama Boswell and a grand slam by Jones.

A single by Jessica Ramseyer in the second inning was a positive for Mercer Island.

Kelly Treves earned the win for Bellevue Wolverines Varsity. She went six innings, giving up zero runs, two hits, and striking out eight. Madeline Rowe took the loss for Mercer Island. She tossed four and two-thirds innings, surrendering six runs, and eight hits.

Bellevue Wolverines Varsity collected 12 hits. Madi George, Jones, and Kendall Mecham each collected multiple hits for Bellevue Wolverines Varsity. George went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Bellevue Wolverines Varsity in hits. Bellevue Wolverines Varsity was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. MC Tolbert made the most plays with eight.

Mercer Island didn’t commit a single error in the field. Ramseyer had the most chances in the field with five.
