Kingco Playoff Game #1 – Four RBI Day For Treves Leads Wolverines Varsity Past Interlake

Kelly Treves drove in four on two hits to lead the Wolverines  past Interlake 13-5 on Monday. Treves drove in runs on a double in the third and a double in the third.

Bellevue Wolverines Varsity secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a double by Kelly Treves, a error, a single by Mason Mukhar, a error, a double by Treves, and a double by Madi George.

After Interlake scored two runs in the top of the fifth, Bellevue Wolverines Varsity answered with two of their own. Interlake scored when there was an error, scoring one run and Treves induced Anna Satagaj to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored. Bellevue Wolverines Varsity then answered when Kendall Mecham tripled off of Lexi Martin, driving in two runs.

Bellevue Wolverines Varsity took the lead for good with nine runs in the third inning. In the third Treves doubled off of Ren Watanabe, driving in one run, there was an error, scoring one run, Mukhar singled off of Watanabe, driving in one run, there was an error, scoring two runs, Treves doubled off of Watanabe, driving in three runs, and George doubled off of Watanabe, driving in one run.

Treves earned the win for Wolverines. She threw seven innings, allowing five runs, eight hits, and striking out eight. Watanabe took the loss for Interlake. She pitched three innings, surrendering nine runs, eight hits, and striking out one.

Wolverines collected 11 hits. George, Mecham, and Treves each collected multiple hits for Bellevue Wolverines Varsity.

Interlake had eight hits in the game. Martin and Rachel Lotzkar each collected multiple hits for Interlake.
