Season over as Wolverines fall to Meadowdale in State Playoffs

Bellevue Wolverines Stymied By Meadowdale, Lose 8-0

Bellevue Wolverines struggled to get their offense going on Friday, getting easily dispatched by Meadowdale, 8-0.

One bright spot for Bellevue Wolverines was a single by Montana Jones in the first inning.

Kate Houghton was the winning pitcher for Meadowdale. She surrendered zero runs on one hit over seven innings, striking out 11.

Rachel Treves took the loss for Bellevue Wolverines. She went five innings, allowing three runs on nine hits, striking out three and walking zero.

Jones led Bellevue Wolverines with one hit in three at bats.

Meadowdale totaled 13 hits in the game. Taylor EskewZoey Morris, and Olivia Dimmock all collected multiple hits for Meadowdale. Eskew went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Meadowdale in hits. Meadowdale was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Sophia Wardhad the most chances in the field with 11.

Third Inning Plays Key Role In Bellevue Wolverines Blow Out Over Juanita

A seven-run third inning led Bellevue Wolverines to a 9-3 victory on Friday. Mason MukharKelly TrevesClaire SeatsKama Boswell, and Emi Williams powered the big inning with RBIs.

Rachel Treves took the win for Bellevue Wolverines. She lasted seven innings, allowing nine hits and three runs while striking out four and walking one.

Mackenzie Burke took the loss for Juanita. She allowed four hits and two runs over four and a third innings, striking out two.

Ruby Olmstead started the game for Juanita. She allowed six hits and seven runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five

Bellevue Wolverines totaled ten hits. Mukhar and Treves each collected multiple hits for Bellevue WolverinesTreves and Mukhar each collected two hits to lead Bellevue Wolverines.Bellevue Wolverines was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Montana Jones made the most plays with five.

Juanita tallied nine hits on the day. Kaci Gordon and Sasha Mitchell all had multiple hits for Juanita.

Bellevue Wolverines Take A Tough Blow From Snohomish  

Friday was a long day for Bellevue Wolverines, falling to Snohomish High School 10-0. One bright spot for Bellevue Wolverines was a single by Morgan Pingree in the second inning. Jordan Crawford earned the victory in the circle for Snohomish High School. She went five innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out one and walking one.

Snohomish High School tallied 11 hits. Sydney SandiferIzzy Hansen, and Crawford all collected multiple hits for Snohomish High School. Snohomish High School was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Elle Everett made the most plays with seven.

Bellevue Wolverines Defeats Holy Names Academy In A Blow-Out Victory

Bellevue Wolverines coasted to an easy victory over Holy Names Academy 11-1 on Friday. Bellevue Wolverines got on the board in the first inning when Kelly Treves grounded out, scoring one run. Bellevue Wolverines notched five runs in the sixth inning. Kama BoswellBrooklyn Jones, and Mason Mukhar each drove in runs during the inning. Rachel Treves took the win for Bellevue Wolverines. She went six innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out six and walking zero. Logan Luebbe took the loss for Holy Names Academy. She went five innings, allowing six runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking one. Bellevue Wolverines launched three home runs on the day. Treves had a long ball in the third and fifth innings. Mukhar had a four bagger in the sixth inning.

Bellevue Wolverines Stymied By Garfield, Lose 11-2

 

Bellevue Wolverines had a tough time generating runs on Thursday, dropping their game with Garfield 11-2. Bellevue Wolverines fired up the offense in the first inning, when an error scored one run for Bellevue Wolverines. Garfield pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third an error scored one run for Garfield, Janelle Gary doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run for Garfield. Nicola Simpson got the win for Garfield. She went four innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out ten and walking zero. Rachel Treves took the loss for Bellevue Wolverines. She lasted six innings, allowing 12 hits and 11 runs while striking out four. Kaia Simpson started the game for Garfield. She went three innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out four Bellevue Wolverines smacked one home run on the day. Kelly Treves had a long ball in the first inning. Montana Jones went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Bellevue Wolverines in hits.

Wolverines Clinches Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Roosevelt and qualify for State!

Bellevue Wolverines nabbed the lead late in the game in a 14-7 victory over Roosevelt on Tuesday. The game was tied at seven with Bellevue Wolverines batting in the top of the sixth when Morgan Pingree doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Claire Seats led Bellevue Wolverines to victory by driving in four runs. She went 3-for-5 at the plate. Seats drove in runs on a home run in the fifth and a home run in the seventh.

Roosevelt got things started in the second inning. Lauren Guise drove in one when she singled.

In the top of the fifth inning, Bellevue Wolverines tied things up at seven. Seats homered on a 3-2 count, scoring three runs.

Bellevue Wolverines put up six runs in the seventh inning. Bellevue Wolverines‘s big bats in the inning were led by a single by Mason Mukhar, a home run by Seats, a groundout by Kendall Mecham, and a double by Montana Jones.

Roosevelt scored three runs in the fourth inning. Kate Thorson and Eva Wright each had RBIs in the frame.

Bellevue Wolverines knocked in nine runs in the third on its way to a 17-3 victory over West Seattle on Monday. Claire SeatsKama BoswellMontana JonesBrooklyn Jones, and Seatseach drove in runs during the inning.

Bellevue Wolverines got things moving in the first inning, when Kelly Treves homered on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.

Rachel Treves was credited with the victory for Bellevue Wolverines. She went four innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out seven. Charlotte Cullom threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Kaela Piggee took the loss for West Seattle. She allowed 11 hits and 17 runs over four innings, striking out four.

Bellevue Wolverines socked three home runs on the day. Treves went for the long ball in the first inning. Jones went deep in the third inning. Cam Durrell had a four bagger in the fourth inning.

Late Score Costs Wolverines Against Lake Washington

Bellevue Wolverines lost the lead late in a 12-5 defeat to Lake Washington on Friday. Lake Washington trailed 5-4 in the top of the sixth inning when Miller homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

The Bellevue Wolverines struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Lake Washington, giving up 12 runs.

Lake Washington got things started in the second inning when Miller grounded out, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the third inning, Bellevue Wolverines tied things up at three when Kama Boswell drew a walk, scoring one run.
