4-Hit Day For Mukhar As Bellevue Wolverines Skirts Past Sammamish

Mason Mukhar would not be denied at the plate on Monday, picking up four hits and leading Bellevue Wolverines to a 12-2 win over Sammamish. Mukhar singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fourth, and singled in the fifth.

Sammamish got things started in the first inning when Morgan Sullivan‘s sac fly scored one run for Sammamish.

In the bottom of the first inning, Bellevue Wolverines tied things up at two when Kelly Trevesdoubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Bellevue Wolverines pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Charlotte Cullom grounded out, scoring one run and Mukhar singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Bellevue Wolverines notched four runs in the fourth inning. Treves and Claire Seats all drove in runs in the frame.

Cullom got the win for Bellevue Wolverines. She went four innings, allowing two runs on one hit and striking out three. Rachel Treves threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Sabine Cabales took the loss for Sammamish. She allowed 13 hits and 12 runs over four innings, striking out one.

Bellevue Wolverines tallied 13 hits. MukharTrevesMontana Jones, and Kama Boswell each had multiple hits for Bellevue WolverinesMukhar led Bellevue Wolverines with four hits in four at bats. Bellevue Wolverines stole ten bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Jones led the way with three.

Cherise Flavius went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Sammamish in hits.
